Excursion to the Museum-House of the Romanov family. It was in Tobolsk, where the family of the last Russian Emperor was imprisoned in 1917/1918.

Day 8
Breakfast at hotel.
09.00 excursion to one of the most important monasteries of all Siberia in the village of Abalak, 30 km from Tobolsk. It is located on the most beautiful bend of the Irtysh river on a high cape -60 meters. It offers a fantastic view of the Siberian nature for 30-40 km.
Return to Tobolsk.
Excursion to the Museum-prison of the XIX century: located on the territory of the Kremlin.
Lunch.
Visit to the Museum «Viceroy’s Palace», where the marching throne of the great Empress Catherine II (born German Princess Sophia Augusta Frederica of Anhalt-Zerbst) is kept. Acquaintance with the collection of bone-cutting art.

Day 9

Departure to Yalutorovsk, 250 km from Tobolsk.
Excursion to the reconstruction of a wooden Siberian fortress of the XVII century. Meeting with the Cossack team. Master class on making a Russian ceremonial rag doll.
